Our guest speaker!!! Austin James is a graduate of NC A&T State University & a 2008 initiate of the Zeta Chapter of Iota Phi Theta. As a formally trained Educator, James has served as an Elementary and Middle School Teacher as well Program Director of Young Man With a Plan: a college access program in Boston, MA. A true a zealot for young people, James currently serves as the Program Coordinator for TRIO Talent Search at NC State in Raleigh, NC. Aside from working to connect young people with the resources & experiences needed to graduate from high school & complete their post-secondary education, James works to share important messages to the world through film, music, spoken word, and public speaking.
